Returning the film to the earth:
Remove any labels or stickers.
Cut the film into small pieces if you want it gone faster.
Add it to your compost as a carbon (“brown”) material and mix with greens.
Turn your compost occasionally.
It breaks down in roughly 6–12 weeks, depending on conditions.
Dispose of it accordingly.
